I was browsing on Car Gurus, when I came across these two listings. The first is a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! listed @ $3,995.
Seems to be in great shape.
Then there was a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! listed @ $2,950.
Has a few dents, and Interior was not shown.
Which is the better deal? Pontiac or Subaru? Thanks for viewing! For your time, look at this awesome Camaro!

Why not a Toyota instead?

Syphilis or Gonorreha?
I’d go with the Subaru.

Is this meant to be in the “Cars you absolutely don’t want” post on Jalopnik?
That said if I had to pick I’d take the subaru just because you could pry out the engine and put it in something less awful to look at.

B9 all the way. *Unpopular opinion time* I actually like the flying vagina grille on the Tribeca. So much better than the Impreza that followed.

Well, I hadn’t thought of that, but sure! I was wondering which was the better deal. I was thinking Subaru as well.

Subaru. It’s more unique if you want a weird SUV. The Aztek has some weird minivan parts from the GM parts bin and stuff.
The Tribeca has a spaceship cool interior, it has a much better and powerful engine, AWD, looks better, and is a 7 seater. Also it’s 3 years new, and they still make Subarus

The Aztec is a generic GM product. It’ll do fine with regular maintenece, but be boring and in the interior will disintegrate.
The Subaru has 217 thousand miles. Wow. The h6 is a very stout engine, but holy crap. It’s a better car, but holy crap.
You’ll get another 50k outta the Aztec. The Subaru, though I love the h6 dearly, is a crapshoot. I prefer to hedge my bets, personally.

Based on my current tastes, I have the odd feeling that I'll be someone who misses the Aztek in about 20 years. But now? No.

Higlander, Rav4, or even a Matrix/Vibe. The Vibe is cheaper because of the Pontiac name, but it still has that Toyota quality :)

That’s a very low price for the Subaru. I’d expect the worst.
And swap in the 3.6. I looked into them for a future purchase but I wanted quirky style and big engine.

Ugh...
I might take the Aztek. I hate the idea of a driving a GM product, but on the other hand, the Aztek is at least distinctive, while the Tribeca is just blandly awful to look at. I feel like it would kill you a little bit inside every time you went out to drive it.

I’d drive a TriBeCa I wouldn’t touch an Aztec.
To be honest I haven’t driven either, but I have driven a Buick Rendezvous(the Aztec’s “Luxury” sibling), and it was a total pile, every bad thing that has ever been said about GM vehicles from 90-2010 was true in this case.

Interesting take! No one has told me that the Aztec is better until now!

The Tribeca doesn’t have a tent! I mean I assume this Aztek doesn’t have one either, but you could buy one separately.

I actually like my girlfriend’s rendezvous. It does have its problems but nothing too big for a 12 year old car.

Well I hate the Tribeca and it has a bamillion miles on it. So Aztec. Too bad they are both terrible colors.

Everyone around here gives the Aztek hate. For a mediocre car they are not terrible. I think a lot of the hate stems from years of everyone saying you should hate them.

Aztek. All the way. Answer is always Aztek.
In all seriousness, I’m that one kind of guy that likes the Aztek for some reason. Probably one of my favorite cars. It’s also got less milage and is a grand cheaper. Azteks were decent cars.
